Get a dedicated travel sound machine. Do not bring the Hatch.
I know the Hatch is great. I know you want everything to be "the same" when you travel. But dismantling the nursery setup every time you leave town is a pain, and you will forget to pack it at least once. Then you're in a hotel at 9pm trying to find a white noise app that doesn't have ads.
A small, portable sound machine lives in your travel bag permanently. It doesn't need to be fancy. It just needs to be loud enough and always there. We love this one - remember to bring the charger (it's USB-C).
