Mom of 2 Boys
Care was pretty simple. Just put Vaseline on the tip to be sure it didn’t stick to the diaper as it healed. Was essentially done with it after about a week.
Mom of 1 Boy
Care is really not hard. You have to put a square of gauze smothered in Vasoline for the first couple of weeks. You need to not let it get too wet, but you’re changing newborns all the time anyway. It was healed well before the umbilical cord popped out, so bathing wasn’t an issue yet.
Mom of 1 Girl, 1 Boy
Basically have plenty of gauze and Vaseline or Aquaphor on hand, but it healed up pretty quickly. We had a rabbi/mohel do it at our house with a whole ceremony so not even in a hospital with a doctor.
