Baby Folds: Clean Them

Baby folds are adorable. And gross. Especially the neck. Here's how to keep them clean between baths.

Baby folds are adorable. And GROSS. Clean. Them.

When you're doing the in-between baths thing, I like using micellar water. I keep it at the changing table and use the makeup eraser cloths for a quick wipe-down, especially if it's been a high spit-up day but we aren't due for a bath.

The areas that need the most attention: all arm folds, all leg folds, the many many folds that comprise a newborn's neck. Armpits love to collect dead skin. Truly ew.

But here's the thing about hands. At some point they will start clenching their hands a ton. They will get real gross. Clean them at LEAST once a day. Seriously, they will stink.

Also get between the toes, and inside the leg — like whatever the inside of the hip is — where the leg meets the genital area. For boys, move those balls around [GENTLY] when you clean.
